SEO audit services for growing websites

SEO audit services that review your whole website by hand, find what is holding it back in Google and list every fix in order of priority.

Done by the same five-person team that builds, optimizes and supports our clients’ websites.

Websites we have worked on

Free check or full audit

A free check tells you where to start. A full SEO audit tells you everything.

Our free site audit is a short manual review that sends back three prioritized recommendations. For many sites that is enough to get going.

A full SEO audit goes much further. We look at crawling and indexing, site structure, the keywords each page should target, how competitors outrank you, on-page elements on every template, content gaps and overlap, speed, structured data, links and your analytics setup.

Every finding is explained in terms of what it costs you in search. You can act on the report yourself, hand it to your developer or ask us to do the work.

An audit should help you decide, not bury you in warnings. Each issue says what it affects, how to fix it and whether it is worth fixing now.

Free site audit Start with three prioritized fixes

When is a full website SEO audit worth it?

A paid SEO audit makes sense when the problem is bigger than three quick fixes, or when nobody can explain what changed.

These are the situations where a full audit usually earns its cost.

  • Organic traffic has dropped and nobody knows why
  • You are planning a redesign or a move to a new platform
  • Key pages are missing from Google’s index
  • Previous agencies left you with conflicting advice
  • You want a clear SEO plan before hiring anyone

Only need a starting point? Request the free site audit first, and we will tell you honestly whether a full audit is worth it.

Our process

How a full SEO audit works

The scope of your audit, including which areas apply to your site, is set out in writing before we begin.

  1. Scoping call

Your goals, platform, recent changes and any traffic drops you have spotted.

  2. Access and proposal

Read access to Search Console and GA4, plus a written proposal priced in USD.

  3. Crawl and review

The whole site crawled, then each page template checked by hand.

  4. Keyword and competitor check

The searches your pages should win, and what the sites ahead of you do differently.

  5. Prioritized report

Each issue ranked by impact and effort, with the affected URLs and the fix.

  6. Walkthrough call

We explain the findings, answer questions and help you decide who fixes what.

From findings to fixes

What happens once the audit report arrives

How an SEO audit turns into real changes on your website.

An audit only pays for itself once the fixes are made. We write every recommendation so a developer can act on it without another meeting.

You decide who does the work: your own staff, your developer or us.

  1. Read the summary

The first page sets out the issues that matter most in plain language, before any technical detail.

  2. Agree priorities

On the walkthrough call, fixes are sorted into now, next and later to suit your time and budget.

  3. Make the fixes

Your team, your developer or GoodTechies works down the list, biggest impact first.

  4. Track the changes

Search Console shows when fixed pages are recrawled and whether they come back into the index.

A good audit leaves you with fewer problems, not a longer report.

FAQs

Common questions about SEO audit services

Not sure which audit you need? Ask us and we will give you a straight answer.

What is the difference between the free site audit and a full SEO audit?

The free site audit is a quick manual review of your site that comes back with three prioritized recommendations. The full SEO audit is a paid, in-depth review of the whole site, covering indexing, structure, keywords, competitors, content, technical setup, links and analytics, delivered as a prioritized report with a walkthrough call. If you are unsure how deep the problems go, start with the free audit.

How much does an SEO audit cost?

Each audit is quoted individually in USD, based on the size and type of site and which areas need reviewing. A large store with many templates and filters takes more work than a small service website. You see the price in a written proposal before we start.

What does a technical SEO audit include?

The technical part covers how Google crawls and indexes your site: robots.txt, XML sitemaps, canonical tags, redirects, status codes, internal links, Core Web Vitals, mobile usability and structured data. In our full audit it sits alongside the keyword, content and link review, because technical fixes alone rarely explain a traffic problem.

What do I get at the end of an SEO audit?

A prioritized SEO audit report and a walkthrough call. The report lists each issue with the affected URLs, why it matters and how to fix it, ordered by impact and effort. On the call we go through it with you and anyone who will make the changes.

Do you need access to my website for the audit?

Read access to Google Search Console and GA4 makes the audit much more accurate, because it shows which pages Google indexes and how visitors arrive. We do not need admin access to the website itself. Both Google tools let you add us as a user without sharing a password.

Can you fix the issues the audit finds?

Yes, if you want us to. The audit ends with the report and walkthrough, and any fixes are quoted separately, straight from the findings. Our team handles WordPress, WooCommerce and Shopify development and ongoing SEO, and you are just as free to give the report to your own developer.

Will an SEO audit improve my rankings on its own?

No. An audit is a diagnosis, and nothing changes in Google until the fixes are made. What it does is stop you spending time and money on the wrong things, and give whoever does the work a clear order to follow.
