Our approach

Website development built around how your customers decide

Your website is often the first contact a customer has with your business, and they judge it quickly. Slow pages, cramped mobile layouts and no obvious next step send them back to the search results.

So we plan each custom website around clean, light code that search engines can crawl, page layouts that lead a visitor toward a call, booking or purchase, and a mobile-first design checked on real phones.

Strategy, design, development and SEO all sit in one team. Nothing gets lost passing your project between agencies or freelancers.

Before any design work starts, we agree what the site has to achieve, whether that is quote requests, demo bookings or online orders. Every page is then judged against that goal.

When is it time for a new website?

A site can look fine to you and still turn visitors away. The warning signs tend to show up in your enquiries long before anyone checks the analytics.

If several of these sound familiar, professional website development will do more for you than another round of patches.

  • The design looks dated next to your competitors
  • Visitors arrive but rarely call, book or send a form
  • Pages are hard to read or tap on a phone
  • Small text changes need a developer every time
  • The site barely shows up when people search for what you do

Mostly need a new look rather than a rebuild? See Website Design.

What we deliver

Everything a business website needs to do its job

Each item is written into your proposal. Selling products online? eCommerce Development covers stores.

  • Custom design based on your brand, not a stock template
  • Mobile-first, responsive development
  • SEO structure: headings, metadata, schema and XML sitemap
  • Speed work on images, scripts and fonts
  • Forms, booking and CRM connections tested end to end
  • GA4 and Search Console set up at launch
  • A clear next step on every page

Each page is laid out around one action, such as calling, booking or asking for a quote, so visitors never have to work out what to do.

    UX
  • Structure search engines can read

Clean URLs, one H1 per page, sensible internal links and schema markup go in during the build, not as a checklist after launch.

    SEO
  • Room to grow

New services, locations or landing pages fit into the existing templates, so adding to the site later does not mean starting again.

Our process

Our website development process in six steps

Each step ends with something you review and approve before the next one begins.

  1. Discovery and strategy

We learn about your customers, competitors and goals, and look at what your current site does well and badly.

  2. Planning and sitemap

Pages, content, integrations and platform are agreed, then set out in a written proposal priced in USD.

  3. Design and prototype

Key pages are designed for mobile and desktop and shared as clickable prototypes for your feedback.

  4. Development

The approved design is built on a private staging copy, with forms and tools connected to test accounts.

  5. Testing and QA

Pages checked on phones, tablets and desktops, along with forms, speed, redirects and tracking.

  6. Launch and support

The site goes live with old URLs redirected, followed by optional WordPress maintenance.

FAQs

Website development FAQs

Have a question about your own project? Ask us directly.

How much does custom website development cost?

Every website is quoted individually in USD after a short call. The price depends on the number of page templates, the features and integrations involved, and how much content needs writing or moving. You get the scope and price in writing before any work starts.

How long does it take to develop a website?

Most of our website development projects take 1–4 weeks from agreed scope to launch. Sites with many templates, custom features or a large amount of content to move take longer, and your proposal shows the timeline for your project.

Which platform will my website be built on?

Most business websites we build run on WordPress, using native blocks rather than a heavy page builder. Online stores run on WooCommerce or Shopify. We recommend a platform based on what your team needs to edit and the tools the site has to connect to.

Is SEO included in website development?

The technical foundations are: clean URLs, page titles and meta descriptions, headings, schema markup, an XML sitemap, fast pages and redirects from old URLs. Ongoing work such as new content and link building is a separate SEO service.

Will I be able to update the website myself?

Yes. Before handover we walk your team through editing pages, adding posts and swapping images. On WordPress, pages are built from blocks that keep your styling fixed, so an update does not break the layout.

Can you rebuild my existing website?

Yes. We review your current site first so pages that already rank or bring in leads are kept, then rebuild on a private staging copy. Old URLs are redirected at launch so existing links and search listings keep working.

What happens after my website launches?

You can reach us Saturday to Thursday, and we reply within one business day. For updates, backups and security checks, an optional WordPress maintenance plan is agreed separately from the build.
